I have a love-hate relationship with Fall. I hate seeing the summer ending; the cooler, windier weather; and the sad realization that winter is around the corner. BUT I love the colours of the changing leaves; Thanksgiving and Halloween; and taking photos this time of year. A few of my girls and I went to Riverdale Park and got some really great shots taking in all that Fall has to offer. It was such a lovely day and we had a really great time.Here are some of my faves from the day. And, yes, I know there are more than I usually put up... It's cuz my friends' are really pretty and I couldn't condense the photos any more than I already have! ;)

One of my favourite parts of the summer is hitting up a cottage with friends. There's nothing better than lying on a dock, soaking up the sun, drinking a beer and chatting the day away. ...And taking photos of it all!Below are some shots I recently took at a cottage. There were a ton taken of my friend Amanda - I only added my absolute faves! My camera and I seem to have a little thing for her. Two of my best friends modeled for me a few months back in a very fun shoot. It was all about Grunge - graffiti, cigarettes, attitude. Both my girls embodied this amazingly. The shoot took place in graffiti alley in downtown Toronto, which was obviously perfect. What amazing art! It made the best background full of colour and spunk.It was such a sweet day - perfect weather; outfit changes in the alleyway - where there was only one random guy who was pleasantly surprised to see a half naked model; and many, many giggles.

Rewind to July 1st - Canada Day Weekend. Now I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say there is no better city to celebrate this amazing country in than in Ottawa. I've tested this theory extensively...in two cities.It was the best weekend: amazing backyard Canada Day party, friends I haven't seen in far too long, "Eclipse" (yes, I'm a 25-year-old teeny-bopper), games night (where I had an epic win to end the evening!), delicious food made by our lovely hostess and, to add the cherry on top, a photoshoot.Three of my good friends, Danielle, Jes and Jen, were my models. And since both Danielle and Jen are extremely talented photographers, I posed for them as well. It was a lovely, sunny, (maybe a little too) hot day and we found some amazing locations. First we went to a school, then to a gorgeous little park we randomly found, complete with ducklings! Below are some of my faves from the day. The ladies look incredible and I had a blast. Can we do it again? Seriously, though...
